Espoo Museum of Modern Art (EMMA)

The EMMA-museum has aquired the piece ”Tear” by Furbacken. It will be permanently installed at the entrance of the Cabinet of Curiosities, a new rentable public space on 2nd floor.

A world of frightening yet enticing imagery, opening up to reveal mysterious spaces in darkness, mist and light. But also a world that turns the most trivial details into poetry… (Curator: Carl-Johan Olsson)

Several works by Furbacken are displayed in this ambitious exhibition at the Swedish National Museum.

Furbacken’s extensive public art project has recently been installed at Ålsta Förskola! With a total of twelve sculptures and two wall photographs, this public art commission by Järfälla kommun inspires a new generation to discover and value their local ecosystems.
